Rocawear City Roc

As you may already know by now from our previous coverage on the Roc The Boat and Evolution, Jay-Z has invaded the market with his own line of footwear under his corporate Rocawear label. In the short 2yrs or so since the lineup debuted, the collection has steadily grown to include a variety of different styles for both men and women. All of which are produced in a selection of color schemes to suit your fashion needs.

One of the newest models added to the collection is the Rocawear City Roc. Using a casual high-top silhouette, Rocawear introduces the City Roc to us in a lineup consisting of four available color options; white, grey and two black versions, one of which includes purple accents. Canvas primarily builds the upper of each shoe, however, depending on which color you decide upon there’s a mixture of different materials throw in, such as nubuck, leather and suede which help to add some contrast to the tonal bases. Embroidery of Rocawear’s R+ logo sits offset on the top of the tongue, and on the heel, while a designer Rocawear label is stitched onto the side panels. Other details include a durable rubber sole unit, heavy duty D-eyelets which are usually found on boots and a few sets of regular eyelets on the upper most part of the midfoot and running astray down the side of the upper.
