Married to the MOB x Lacoste Hironia

November seems to be the month of Collaborations and NYC based company Married to the MOB is no exception. Here’s a look at their latest collaboration with Lacoste for the Hironia sneaker. These kicks were clearly made for the females out there, and boast materials like a lavender and black all over lace burn-out print that covers the entire upper. There is also some design inspiration from the famous and very pricey Christian Louboutin shoes sporting the solid “red bottoms”. These collabo kicks are strictly for the ladies and are sure to be a good look for the female sneaker enthusiast.

Nike Canarinho Collection – Holiday 2009

When you realize that these kicks are Brazilian exclusives, it seems totally natural that yes, those are canaries kicking a soccer ball on the Nike Dunk Low pictured above. Sharing its nickname with Brazil’s national soccer team, this pack of kicks and gear prominently features the tiny birds in all sorts of different forms. No surprise, then, that these are the second set from Nike Sportswear’s Canarinho Collection. The most exciting addition be the new Nike Blazer Low Metro. It’s an update to the retro basketball sneaker that has a slightly Free-like forefoot. These, the Dunks and Tennis Classics, along with some interesting tees will all drop soon and we’ll keep you posted.

DJ AM Memorial Fund Auctions – Best of Week 1

Adam Goldstein’s loss was not only a shocker in the high-brow celebrity realm, but also hit close to home for many sneakerheads, as he was just as popular to us for his collection of 900+ pairs of serious heat. As you may know, Deckstar and UNDFTD has started an eBay auction event which will provide all of its winning proceeds to the DJ AM Memorial Fund.

Our initial teaser to you guys gave a small glimpse of what was to be auctioned off to some lucky bidders. With pairs being added every evening till the first week of December, a number of gems have already been revealed for open bidding. Take a look below to check out what’s already out, contending for the heaviest hitters. We think you would be quite surprised at which pair currently holds the highest bid.

Nike Auto Flight Hi – House of Hoops Exclusive – Safari – Black – Red

It looks like Nike’s new design trend has moved on from making fusions to simply applying an autoclaved soles to some past basketball faves for a flipped lifestyles look. But designs like this Auto Flight seen here even further separate itself from its original Air Flight Hi form, at least compared to some other colorway choices we’ve already seen. We couldn’t see Scottie rocking these alongside MJ’s sig designs, could we? The essential Bulls colorway is garnished with patent leather ad a safari print along some of the paneling, mostly towards the back. The solid red found on the Swoosh, lining trim and sole make a good balance to the atypical athletic design.

Louis Vuitton Sunlight Sneaker Winter 2009

We all remember the hype surrounding Kanye West’s collaborations with Louis Vuitton for the LV Don and Jasper sneaker. Although these LV Sunlight sneakers from the Winter 2009 collection have no affiliation with the rapper/producer, they still have a clean design that should definitely appeal to those sneaker heads out there with an eye for the more luxurious side of things. These LV Sunlights feature two colorways, grey/royal blue and khaki/red. The upper is a combination of premium suede and leather with perforated suede side panels, a suede ankle strap and mesh tongue and liner.

Nike Dynasty Hi – Georgetown Hoyas – House of Hoops Exclusive

It’s almost certain that no matter how much time has elapsed or what direction the brand takes in the future, Nike will probably never let go of donning a few pairs every now and then with the Hoyas look. After all, it’s one of those things that helped Nike get where they are now. With the Dynasty Hi getting good feedback since its return, it’s no surprise that the slick profile gets the Georgetown treatment.

Obviously taking on the dark navy and grey look, the team scheme is updated with the current pattern found on the Hoyas jerseys, with further team identity found on the tongue. Athough the aesthetics are derived from athletic inspiration, the feel of these is definitely more formal and sophisticated.

Patta x Reebok Pump20 – Anniversary Capsule

The days are winding down til the 20 illustrious shops release their collaborative Reebok Pump20. We’ve seen quite a few now, all taking on such different forms. After seeing what Patta can do with a few AM1’s, we see how they proves the theory that even when given the same shoe, a completely unique look can arise.

Made of full grain leather and nubuck, the upper displays a light tan appearance with lava orange accents, possibly rendered with old basketball court floors in mind. This thought can only ferment even more with the sight of gum on the sole, a pivotal element of basketball culture. Or maybe these thoughts are summoned by immargery of a custom Reebok Pump20 basketball accompanying the previewed pair. It’s up to you to decide.

Patta x Nike Air Max 1 – Burgundy – Sneak Peek

At this point, Dutch sneaker heavyweights Patta are no strangers to Nike collaborations or the Air Max 1. They have recently revealed two different colorways of the Air Max 1, adding some fresh shades of green and purple canvas to the shoe’s classic color blocking for a new look. Now, thanks to the recent Patta interview feature on Complex, we get a brief, but enticing preview of another Air Max 1 collabo in the works between Patta and Nike. As you can see, this new version sports a solid burgundy suede upper with a white midsole, light blue accents and a multi-colored outsole. There isn’t much else known about this project at the moment, but stay tuned for more news as soon as it breaks.

Reebok Ex-O-Fit Plus Hi Trail Pack

Reebok will be releasing the Ex-O-Fit Plus Hi Trail Pack as part of their Holiday 2009 Collection. The high top sneaker with ankle strap come in brown and in black leather as part of the pack, featuring a hiking boot inspired lacing system, including the laces and eyelets. The uppers feature contrasting stitching, yet otherwise are kept very clean. The ripstop lining is a nice finishing touch. In our mind probably the nicest pack to come from Reebok this season.
