Air Jordan Retro XI 2009 – Space Jam Preview

The long waited retro release of the Air Jordan Space Jam XI is approaching, and here we have the first pictures of the sneakers. Brand Jordan didn’t make any big changes, there’s little to be done for a shoe that scores so highly in all categories, but one difference is the color of the Jumpman logo on the sole of the shoe. If memory serves me, said logo was white in previous editions. Slated for a release on November 27th, you’ll probably be paying a premium if you miss the rumored $175 retail mark.

Nike Air Force 1 Low ‘ Notebook’ (GS) - Back to School Pack

The Back to School Pack from Nike continues. We have caught a look at five styles in the Back to School Pack so far and now we have spotted a sixth, a pair of Air Force Ones making use of the notebook design.

The Nike Air For 1 Low ‘Notebook’ features the composition notebook pattern in red and white with the mid-panel of the sneakers resembling a page out of a notebook. According to reports online the sneakers are expected to be hitting retailers sometime next week. Unfortunately mens sizes will not be available, however the sneakers will be available in Grade School, Preschool and Toddler sizes.

Air Jordan VII DMP 60+ Pack - Bulls vs. Magic - New Images

At this point, most of you are probably well aware of the upcoming Air Jordan VII DMP Bulls vs. Magic 60+ Pack. With a release scheduled for August, we now get a look at some new images of the kicks, as well as our best view yet of the packaging. As you would expect, both shoes will come in one box, with the outside designed to look like the floor of the United Center, where Michael’s 64 point game against Orlando took place on January 16th, 1993. As you can see, the pack contains the black/grey/red Air Jordan VII that Mike wore during the game, as well as a new Orlando Magic-inspired colorway that sports a white upper with black and royal blue accents. The pack drops on August 22nd, so make sure to check out some more pics after the jump while you wait it out.

Nike Air Trainer 1 – Tecmo Bo Jackson

Nike has been cleaning up with multi-sport superstar Bo Jackson these past few weeks, paying homage to the retired athlete through an assortment of different shoes. On top of the Nike Air Trainer II LE and Nike Blazer Mid models we saw earlier this week, pictures of a new Nike Air Trainer I tribute have got people talking. Similar to the Tecmo Blazers, this Blue and White Royals inspired colorway features a pixelated pattern and a 16-Bit Bo Jackson tag on the tongue. No details on a release date yet, but Nike seems to be giving anything with a Bo Jackson twist the green light.

Nike SB P-Rod III Black/Red

Paul Rodriguez’s third signature shoe should be on shelves now and in the fall this Black/Red colorway will be released. The shoe consists of a black and red upper complete with safari print around the toe box and heel. The two most interesting features include a translucent portion in the middle of the sole, which exposes the midfoot shank, and the very sleek white Nike SB box and dust bag, both including Paul Roddriguez’s initials and signature. Check back soon for a fall release date.

Rumored to be releasing as a pack with a matching New Era cap of the same motif, these sneakers are expected to drop in January coinciding the birthday of Nicky Diamonds of Diamond Supply.

Nike Air Force 1 x Jedi Nike SB Dunk

One again it seems as if renowned DJ and shoe collector Clark Kent was blessed with another special 1 of 1 pair of Nike Air Force 1 infused with a Nike SB Dunk. As with his Nike Air Force 1 x Supreme Nike SB Dunk, these are executed in the same fashion, and designed by DJ Clark Kent himself. No word on any possible release to the public.

LAZYTHING x Nike Air Force 1

The world knows DJ Clark Kent’s collection for Air Force 1’s are virtually unprecedented in exclusivity and numbers. To add one more to his collection DJ Clark Kent received a very nice 1 of 1 pair from customizer AKALAZY. The shoe follows Lazy’s “Jailbreaker” convention, which revolves around a highly distressed dark upper accented with yellow threading and a white midsole. For now these may be the only pair ever produced.

The third signature model from Paul Rodriguez is sure to be a hit among skaters, SB fans and P-Rod fans so as you can expect Nike SB will be putting together quite a few colorways for you to add to your collection. Staple x New Balance 575 “White Pigeon”

Jeff Staple’s tried and true Pigeon colorway gets a slight twist in this latest New Balance collab.
The Staple x New Balance 575 “White Pigeon” still features the some of the standard pigeon elements, including the image embroidered into the heel, and NYC image on the tongue. Instead of the standard grey that we know and love about the Pigeon Colorway, the “White Pigeon” is exactly that, white.

Look for these to arrive at retailers in August, more than likely in limited numbers.

Ubiq Presere x Atmos Girls

Atmos links up with Ubiq for these flip down high top creations. In a myriad of colorways that dont really kick in until the top is dropped the Atmos lady line looks like what would happen if a Chukka and a Chuck Taylor had a lovechild. The sock lining softens up the look a bit while the block lettered UBIQ on the inside of the flip tricks it out this is a pretty cool look for the ladies.

Greedy Genius Ocean Runner - Fall 2009 Preview

We spotlighted the Greedy Genius Ocean Runner a while ago but this time we get to see more of the line up. As of now there are 6 colorways including brown, navy blue suede or leather, black suede or leather and red leather. Air Jordan 12 (XII) Flu Game

2009 brings an official comeback for the Air Jordan 12, with pairs like the Nubuck and Rising Sun, many will enjoy the original Black and Red colorway, also known as the Air Jordan 12 Flu Game. The Black/Red Air Jordan 12 are nicknamed the Flu Game due to Michael Jordan having a stomach flu during game 5. Despite being severely sick, Jordan scored 38 points against the Utah Jazz. 12 Years later, Jordan Brand will once again release the black and red color scheme, but with subtle changes. For example, the Air Jordan 12 Flu Game will feature the year (97) and the points scored (38), and a cartoon sick face on the tongue. An exact release date has not been issued, but will hit retailers in November 2009.

Nike SB Dunk Low – Will Ferrell

Known for their creative character-oriented colorways, Nike SB channels live-action comedy ‘Anchorman’ and it’s protagonist Ron Burgundy with the release of their Nike SB Dunk Low “Will Ferrell”. Whether you’re a fan of the tall funny man or not, you’ve got to appreciate the metallic gold swoosh, suede uppers, and tacky tie silk details, a very close match to the character’s onscreen get-up. Released in a few Japanese stores, grab yours now from LTD Online.

Penny’s 1/2 Cent is back in its 3rd Colorway!

Recently Nike and the Penny Signature series released the second colorway of the 1/2 cent (black/metallic). But in September 2009 House of Hoops will shelve the 3rd colorway of the prestigious shoe with a reverse Metallic/black colorway. If the third installment sells anywhere near the original blue/black colorway then Nike and Penny will boast yet another success. The 1/2 cents sport a metallic silver upper and black ankle supports that run down to the toe. Also for those who check out celebs and what shoes they rock, you may have noticed Wale rockin’ these awhile back in the DC Chillin’ video.

Jul 27 · Starks Laces x DJ Clark Kent x Nike Air Force 1 Hyperstrike - All-Star PE

Back in February, Nike released an NBA All-Star pack of two Quickstrike Air Force 1’s that were co-designed by DJ Clark Kent and Starks Laces. The pack featured black and white versions of the Air Force 1, both featuring purple, orange and yellow accents as a nod to the game’s host city, Phoenix. Now it appears that a third shoe was also created by the same design team, but this one was not sold for retail. Instead, this version was given out as a player exclusive to some of the All-Star’s taking part in the weekend’s events. Aside from the white upper with Phoenix Suns accent colors, this Air Force 1 also sports an embossed “09″ on the upper, as well as a visible Air unit in the heel and a special pair of matching Starks laces. As another added bonus, the insoles are graced with a printed excerpt from a classic Notorious B.I.G. rhyme, giving this Air Force 1 a clever extra touch.

Jul 27 · Air Jordan Force Fusion IV (4) - White - Cement - Available

The task of legitimizing the often scrutinized Fusion line seems to be falling to the Air Jordan Force Fusion IV. While a lot of sneakerheads have no love for Fusions, the Air Jordan Force IV seems to have a good shot at converting some of the naysayers. The Air Jordan IV is one of the most beloved models in the storied Air Jordan catalog and this hybrid model does a great job staying true to the original look. The use of original colorways is another big selling point for the Fusion IV’s, and as you can see the classic White/Cement color scheme is looking as crisp as ever. These kicks are not scheduled for release until August 1st, but VaultHarlem already has some in stock and so do some eBay sellers. Keep reading after the jump for a look at some more pics, including a shot of the two classics that were combined to create this new model

Nike Air Trainer II LE Bo Jackson

When thinking of the Nike Air Trainer II, many may associate it with the 2008 Nike SB x Supreme collaboration. The latest Nike Air Trainer II pays homage to one of the greatest athletes of recent history, Vincent Edward “Bo” Jackson. Synonymous for playing with then the Los Angeles Raiders, Bo Jackson’s image is depicted on the tongue in Techmo Bowl’s pixilated fashion

These will not be for sale but given away via sweepstakes through Hot Topic on the day of the movie’s release, September 9th.

Jul 28 · Nike Air Force 1 Bespoke - MX Sole

This is a *clear* case of the photos overriding the news. Don’t get it twisted, it’s quite impressive that you can design a new Nike Air Force 1 Bespoke with the MX sole, but possibly more impressive is to see all 19 colours all in a row. As you can see in the photo above, the clear casing on the MX sole gives the appearance of a translucent material from afar. Upon further inspection, it’s clear that the colour is nestled within a transparent shell. Take a look at the photos after the jump and then head over to 21 Mercer St. to design your own.

He has designed eight Gel Lyte IIIs for David Z, along with a few others and here are some samples that may or may not be next in line. Key among these is a white, black, orange and blue pair that keeps it Knicks/Mets. There are also pairs in red/yellow and blue/green/grey. We just showed you a Black Nike Big Nike Low which we are sure only really pleased a handful of you given its extremely dark design so therefore we present to you this other colorway of a Nike Big Nike Low which we are sure will grab the attention of some of you. This version of the Nike Big uses a color scheme taken from the releases in the DJ Clark Kent 112 Pack with a white, grey and neon colorup. New Balance 790 Retro – Spring 2010 Release

Next year come the Spring of 2010 New Balance will be re-issuing its once popular New Balance 790 model. Shown here are two pairs of the 790 Retro which are reported to be releasing during the Spring of 2010. As you can see one of the models uses a white, blue and orange colorway while the pair set behind them sports a white and green colorway. They remind us of colorways resembling the NY Knicks and the Boston Celtics.

Nike Air Force 1 Low Supreme - Black/Grey

Vans City Series ‘San Fransisco’ Pack

The latest additions to the Vans City Series are starting to make their way to retailers around the world as we speak. The latest pack pays tribute to San Fransisco with a Vans Era, Half Cab and an Old Skool. All three of the sneakers use a black and orange colorway with the Half Cab being my favorite with a combo of denim and suede on the upper with orange contrast stitching. This is defiantly a nice pack for all the SF and Cali based people.

New Balance x 686 ‘580′ Sneakers & Snowboard Boots

In a collaboration which will be releasing this year during the Holiday 2009 season New Balance has teamed up with 686 to design a line of the NB 580. The Collection consists of two colorways of the 580 as well as two colorups of a 580 Snowboard Boot which 686 helped design. To other understanding there were also some 420 models designed as well and some jackets, hats, sweatshirts and tees, but as of right now we just have shots of the 580s to show you.

One of the sneakers and snowboard boots come in white/grey/orange while the other sneakers and boots come in black/blue. All four of the designs have a speckled mid-sole as well as a subtle plaid pattern incorporated throughout the uppers. The New Balance ‘NB’ logo and the 686 logo are both embroidered on the toe of the sneakers. An added feature to the 580 snowboard boots are interchangeable BOA lace coilers.

Watch for the entire collection to hit select NB and 686 distributors later this year.

Nike WMNS Air Max 90 - Black - White - Red Plum

The Air Max 90 is such a classic style that, frankly, it’s hard to get it wrong when coming up with new color combinations. This latest version offers something for the ladies with a striking colorway and some interesting touches. The shoe features a Black and White suede/mesh upper with some vibrant Red Plum accents spread around to create a very nice contrast. In addition to the vibrant color scheme, the most noteworthy aspect of these kicks is the coloring of the midsole, in which the back half of the section surrounding the Air bubble is Red Plum and the front is White. These should be hitting stores soon, but you can already find a pair on eBay.

Nike Dunk Vandal Premium - Fall 2009

Last week, we gave you a sneak peek at an upcoming Dunk High model that sports a silver Vandal-esque nylon upper and now it appears that they will not be alone in the Nike Fall 2009 collection. Two additional nylon colorways of what Nike is calling the Dunk Vandal Premium will also be on the way to retailers soon. One pair features a solid Black upper and midsole with Green Spark accents and a set of Zitron laces. The other colorway uses a Midnight Navy base with touches of New Magenta and Total Orange. As mentioned before, both of these Dunk Vandal Premiums, as well as the Silver/Blue/Red pair, will be coming to select Nike accounts soon, so be sure to keep your eyes peeled.

Nike Zoom Uptempo V Premium - Black - Varsity Royal - White

Originally, this shoe was known as the Nike Zoom Flight V and was worn by Jason Kidd during some of his early NBA days. Now that Kidd is no longer with Nike, they are re-releasing a Retro version of the shoe, but have changed the name to the Zoom Uptempo V, which seems strange considering that Kidd’s name was not used for the original model name. No matter the reason for the switch, the classic shoe has been released as an Asia exclusive in this Black/Royal/White/Green colorway that definitely sports a Dallas Mavericks feel. If you are excited to see the return of this intriguing throwback, you will only find them at select Asian retailers such as Kix-Files.

Nike Sportswear Lunar Mariah - Fall 2009

The Nike Air Mariah was originally introduced in 1980 and at the time, was the first Nike shoe to feature full-length Air. The Air Mariah was so lightweight and responsive, that it stayed a part of the Nike running lineup into the 1990’s. In an attempt to update the classic style with some of today’s most innovative sneaker technology, Nike has created the Lunar Mariah. The shoe features a Lunar Foam sole and no-sew construction to help it to become one of the most comfortable and lightweight running shoes that Nike has ever made. In addition to the impressive performance aspects, the Lunar Mariah also offers a very sleek look that holds onto some classic Air Mariah aesthetics, but reinterprets the design into something a little more contemporary.

For starters, there will be three colorways, each using a solid Black upper with differing accent and midsole colors. It looks like the Black/White and Black/Royal versions will be limited edition releases at only a handful of European Nike retailers, but the Black/Hot Red colorway will be more widely available in the States

Nike Air Force 1 Mid - Black Quilted Canvas - Varsity Maize

Nowadays, new Air Force 1 Mid colorways seem to be few and far between. The Mid model still pops up from time to time, but not nearly as much as it used to. The Air Force 1 Mid has always been a polarizing topic, with many Air Force 1 die-hards claiming that the Mid has no place alongside the High and Low models in the Air Force 1 family. That said, there are still a lot of sneakerheads out there who have been longing for some new Mids and this pair looks to be worth the wait. These kicks sport a Black canvas upper with a Varsity Maize tongue and accents. Some nice stylish touches are then added like the seamless edges of the upper and the quilted stitching on the mid panel and the ankle strap. If you are an Air Force 1 Mid supporter, be advised that this fresh new version has just hit eBay, so you can get yourself a pair now.

Air Jordan Force Fusion IV (4) - Black - Varsity Red - Stealth - New Images

Last night, we gave you another peek at the Military Blue edition of the Air Jordan Force Fusion IV and now we turn our attention to another version that will be dropping later in August. As stated with the Military Blue’s, the AJF IV benefits from the fact that the design of the upper remains nearly identical to the original Air Jordan IV. Add to that the classic Black/Varsity Red/Stealth color scheme and you have one of the most tempting Fusion models yet. Knowing people’s love for the Air Jordan IV, it will be interesting to see if sneakerheads open their hearts and wallets for a pair of the Air Jordan Force Fusion IV’s when they drop on August 29th. Check out some more pics after the jump and let us know if any of you will be lifting your Fusion boycott for a pair of these

Supra - Holiday 2009 Preview

Rather than worrying about creating a bunch of new styles, Supra has chosen to stick with what works when it comes to their Holiday 2009 collection. From the looks of it, several old favorites will be back again in some fresh new colorways. Of the models that we’ve gotten a peek at so far, it appears that the Skytop and Vaider High models will be sporting some new winter looks. Also pictured is a rich brown leather TK Society and a funky purple suede Suprano with some bright green accents. Keep reading after the jump for a look at all these and more from the Supra Holiday ‘09 collection.

Ransom by adidas Summit

Move over Nike Boot, make way for the adidas Summit… just kidding. While nothing really looks to usurp Nikes stronghold on winter sneakers the adidas collaboration with Ransom does look to infuse a very stylish option for winter wear into the closets of sneakerheads across the country. Available in 3 different styles including leather and suede uppers the heavily detailed snow shoe is right up your alley if you are looking for something to seperate you from the pack.

Nike Blazer Mid “Tecmo Bo” | Kansas City Royals

Nike is paying tribute to Jackson with the release of the Nike Blazer Mid in a Kansas City Royals colorway. The kicks feature a pixelated design element, which is a nod the video games such as Tecmo Bowl. Also as part of the Nike “Tecmo Bo” Pack, the Nike Air Trainer 2 “Oakland Raiders” has just released.

The sneakers are now available and can be found at Proper and Sneaker Bistro.

Nike Air Trainer II (2) “Tecmo Bo” | Oakland Raiders

Nike is paying tribute to one of the brands most iconic sponsored athletes, Bo Jackson. The two Nike Air Trainer 2’s incorporate two themes, the first being a colorway inspired by Jackson’s old team the Oakland Raiders. The second element is a nod to Jackson’s unstoppable power in the Nintendo game “Tecmo Bowl”, which is evident from the pixelated Bo on the tongue.

The Nike Air Trainer 2 “Tecmo Bo” is now available in both home and away Oakland Raiders colorways. You can find them in Long Beach at Proper and at sneaker bistro in New York state.
