ADIDAS SUPERSTAR VINTAGE CURRY BROWN

Rich leather and vintage styling sets the tone on this heritage release. The adidas Superstar Vintage features a robust Curry Brown upper contrasted with pure white branding. These classic shell toes feature lux detail in the form of golden labeling and white leather lining. Shape sets these apart from recent superstar releases as they stay true to the 1970′s release.

Nike Dunk High “Iron Bot” Customs

Australian sneaker customizer Sekure D presents us with a look at one of his latest creations, the Nike Dunk High “Iron Bot”. Inspired by the man in the iron suit, but with a robotic twist, the sneakers use an Iron Man inspired colorway in Red/Gold and feature the robot arm pattern that Sekure D’s become notorious for using over the years. In addition to the mid-panel being covered with his signature pattern, the robot arms also become noticeable beneath battle wounds, parts of the Red paneling which are made to appear as if part of Iron Bot’s protective outer shell has been torn away. Paying close attention to the shading around the edges of the battle wounds, the effect gives off a trippy 3D look into the inner robotic workings.

Air Jordan 1 Phat Low – Green/Black

Looking as if they belong in a Candy Pack of their own, this glossy Air Jordan 1 Phat Low is sure to catch some attention on the streets. The tumbled, patent leather upper is covered in a bright shade of Green with accents of Black on the Swoosh, tongue, lining and midsole providing some balance to the tonal base. If you’re a Boston Celtics fan you can probably appreciate these, otherwise the shoes may prove to be just a little to much for the casual consumer with their glossy Green coat. At this time the sneakers are just samples and it’s unknown if they’ll ever release.

Nike Air Max LeBron VIII “Summit Lake Hornets”

Besides dressing for a new team and wearing a new number, you’ll notice LeBron James taking to the courts in a brand new pair of sneakers for the 2010-2011 season. LeBron’s 8th NBA season brings the All-Star his latest signature sneaker with Nike, the Air Max LeBron VIII. Just like every other signature model before it, they’ll be plenty of colorways to add to your collection as the season heats up. We’ve previously seen an All White pair and a Black/Red pair and now we’ve got a looksey at a Summit Lake Hornets edition. Inspired by the rec-league team LeBron played on as a youngster, the Nike Air Max LeBron VIII “Summit Lake Hornets” features a Black base constructed from nubuck, leather, and flywire, with accents of Teal surrounding the Purple Swoosh, lining the brim of the tongue, speckling the midsole and covering the visible Air unit and outsole.

Concepts x Clarks Weaver Boot

With the help of Concepts, one of their loyal distributors in the US, Clarks Originals will be bringing their classic Weaver Boot back to the US. The Weaver Boot, the cousin to the iconic Wallabee, hasn’t been available in the US in over a decade, but thanks to a recent collaboration with Concepts, US consumers will soon have the opportunity to snag a pair once again. With quality being their objective and refusing to deliver anything but the best, Concepts had the outer shell of the Clarks Weaver Boot constructed from premium unlined waxed Italian suede in two different colors – Piombu Grey and Torba Brown – with premium leather used to line the foot beds. The shops “Double C” logo is embossed onto the foot bed and visible across the tongue, while their abbreviated “CNCPTS” branding is spotted on the lower outside heel.
If you’re interested in purchasing a piece of history and snatching up a pair of the first Clarks Weaver Boot release in the US in over 10 years, watch for a release this coming Friday, September 3rd, 2010, in limited quantities through Concept’s flagship store on 37 Brattle Street in Cambridge, MA. Phone orders will be welcome for those outside the area.
Plenty of detailed photos are included after the jump, along with a video Concepts made while visiting the Clarks sample room of Angelo Scuderi, a Clarks Originals shoe maker.

Women’s Nike Air Feather High – Red/White & White/White

Just earlier today we showed you the “new” Nike Auto Force Trainer, which we finally learned is going to release in adult sizes in certain colorways. Now we have some more Nike-related news that’s also about a relatively new Nike silhouette- the Nike Air Feather high. This sneaker actually dropped for the first time last year and now comes in a straightforward red/white and white/white colorway. Although technically designed for women, one wouldn’t blame any dude for trying these on and giving in.

A Bathing Ape Quicksta – Fall 2010 Collection

Those working at A Bathing Ape are certainly trying hard to prepare for its Fall 2010 collection, which we’ve already informed our followers consists of the Crape Sneaker and “Shark” Bapesta. Now you can add a collection of four Bape Quicksta to the upcoming Fall collection. The overall design of this shoe mirrors that of the adidas “Shell Toes” but also comes with a set of three straps along the shoe laces area.

Nike Air Max 95 – Anthracite – Metallic Silver

This past year will go down in fashion history for its use of ‘all black everything’, but grey has played an equally huge role in the post-recession fashion world. Grey softens high contrasts and might be the ‘cleanest’ color other than white, and we all know how amazing a range of greys looks on the Nike Air Max 95. This one goes a bit further than normal, sticking with a mix of silver and greys all the way down to Anthracite without a speck of ‘color’ to be seen. It’s a simple concept on paper but turns out to be one of the hottest AM95s in recent memory, and they’re available exclusively from Britain’s JD Sports.

Ronnie Fieg x Asics Gel Lyte III ‘The Cove’ – New Images

Ronnie Fieg’s ongoing collaboration with Asics has produced some beautiful work of late, and oh yeah, the sneakers are pretty dope as well. Feig’s been showing us his latest kicks on the feet of some gorgeous ladies of late, so here’s a more realistic look at what to expect if you can get your hands on the Ronnie Fieg x Asics Gel Lyte III ‘Coves’. Check out these images of ‘The Cove’ GLIIIs on the feet of Complex’s Joe La Puma and Phil Annand from The Madbury Club. We’ll leave it up to you to judge their accompanying fits, but one thing’s clear from these images: the kicks have roughly the same shade of blue as your typical swimming pool, and they look great with denim, even when soaking wet!

Nike Air Trainer Max 91 – Black – Varsity Red | Available

Think “early ’90s Nike midtops with in black and red with an ankle cutout” and you’re likely to conjure images of the Air Jordan VII and/or Huarache series. Mention criss-crossing velcro straps from that same era, and you’re sure to picture the AJVIII. But before any of those all-time greats got out the gate, the Nike Air Trainer Max 91 was in the weight room and out on the track. This Trainer Max 91 was last retroed in 2005, and the beloved Bred colorup ensures these’ll fly off shelves again a half a decade later.

Air Jordan Six (6) Rings Winterized – Holiday 2010 Collection

Last year saw the release of the Air Jordan Spiz’ike Winterized Boot, and with cold weather coming quicker than you know it, the Spiz’ike’s AJ hybrid successor is waiting in the wings with a boot version of its own. The Air Jordan Six Rings Winterized Boot shows how close the Air Jordan XII’s top eyelets really were to your traditional hiking boot lacing system and each of the three colorways we have to show you today is perfect in its own way. You can’t go wrong with an all-black boot and one with dark brown on the upper with a black sole is equally destined for no-brainer success, but the standout is pictured in the middle and looks to take its colorway from the OG Air Magma ACG.
