ADIDAS SUPERSTAR VINTAGE CURRY BROWN

Rich leather and vintage styling sets the tone on this heritage release. The adidas Superstar Vintage features a robust Curry Brown upper contrasted with pure white branding. These classic shell toes feature lux detail in the form of golden labeling and white leather lining. Shape sets these apart from recent superstar releases as they stay true to the 1970′s release.

Nike Dunk High “Iron Bot” Customs

Australian sneaker customizer Sekure D presents us with a look at one of his latest creations, the Nike Dunk High “Iron Bot”. Inspired by the man in the iron suit, but with a robotic twist, the sneakers use an Iron Man inspired colorway in Red/Gold and feature the robot arm pattern that Sekure D’s become notorious for using over the years. In addition to the mid-panel being covered with his signature pattern, the robot arms also become noticeable beneath battle wounds, parts of the Red paneling which are made to appear as if part of Iron Bot’s protective outer shell has been torn away. Paying close attention to the shading around the edges of the battle wounds, the effect gives off a trippy 3D look into the inner robotic workings.

Air Jordan 1 Phat Low – Green/Black

Looking as if they belong in a Candy Pack of their own, this glossy Air Jordan 1 Phat Low is sure to catch some attention on the streets. The tumbled, patent leather upper is covered in a bright shade of Green with accents of Black on the Swoosh, tongue, lining and midsole providing some balance to the tonal base. If you’re a Boston Celtics fan you can probably appreciate these, otherwise the shoes may prove to be just a little to much for the casual consumer with their glossy Green coat. At this time the sneakers are just samples and it’s unknown if they’ll ever release.

Nike Air Max LeBron VIII “Summit Lake Hornets”

Besides dressing for a new team and wearing a new number, you’ll notice LeBron James taking to the courts in a brand new pair of sneakers for the 2010-2011 season. LeBron’s 8th NBA season brings the All-Star his latest signature sneaker with Nike, the Air Max LeBron VIII. Just like every other signature model before it, they’ll be plenty of colorways to add to your collection as the season heats up. We’ve previously seen an All White pair and a Black/Red pair and now we’ve got a looksey at a Summit Lake Hornets edition. Inspired by the rec-league team LeBron played on as a youngster, the Nike Air Max LeBron VIII “Summit Lake Hornets” features a Black base constructed from nubuck, leather, and flywire, with accents of Teal surrounding the Purple Swoosh, lining the brim of the tongue, speckling the midsole and covering the visible Air unit and outsole.

Concepts x Clarks Weaver Boot

With the help of Concepts, one of their loyal distributors in the US, Clarks Originals will be bringing their classic Weaver Boot back to the US. The Weaver Boot, the cousin to the iconic Wallabee, hasn’t been available in the US in over a decade, but thanks to a recent collaboration with Concepts, US consumers will soon have the opportunity to snag a pair once again. With quality being their objective and refusing to deliver anything but the best, Concepts had the outer shell of the Clarks Weaver Boot constructed from premium unlined waxed Italian suede in two different colors – Piombu Grey and Torba Brown – with premium leather used to line the foot beds. The shops “Double C” logo is embossed onto the foot bed and visible across the tongue, while their abbreviated “CNCPTS” branding is spotted on the lower outside heel.
If you’re interested in purchasing a piece of history and snatching up a pair of the first Clarks Weaver Boot release in the US in over 10 years, watch for a release this coming Friday, September 3rd, 2010, in limited quantities through Concept’s flagship store on 37 Brattle Street in Cambridge, MA. Phone orders will be welcome for those outside the area.
Plenty of detailed photos are included after the jump, along with a video Concepts made while visiting the Clarks sample room of Angelo Scuderi, a Clarks Originals shoe maker.

Women’s Nike Air Feather High – Red/White & White/White

Just earlier today we showed you the “new” Nike Auto Force Trainer, which we finally learned is going to release in adult sizes in certain colorways. Now we have some more Nike-related news that’s also about a relatively new Nike silhouette- the Nike Air Feather high. This sneaker actually dropped for the first time last year and now comes in a straightforward red/white and white/white colorway. Although technically designed for women, one wouldn’t blame any dude for trying these on and giving in.

A Bathing Ape Quicksta – Fall 2010 Collection

Those working at A Bathing Ape are certainly trying hard to prepare for its Fall 2010 collection, which we’ve already informed our followers consists of the Crape Sneaker and “Shark” Bapesta. Now you can add a collection of four Bape Quicksta to the upcoming Fall collection. The overall design of this shoe mirrors that of the adidas “Shell Toes” but also comes with a set of three straps along the shoe laces area.

Gourmet Quattro Skate

In this month alone we’ve brought you news of brand Gourmet’s Uno D-Ring winter shoes and Dicivone Boat Shoe. Now it’s time for Gourmet to try its luck in yet another realm of activity. Pictured here is the Gourmet Quattro Skate in a blue/white and black/white colorway that is specifically designed for you skateboarders out there. With a mix of leather and suede along the upper, Gourmet hopes that it can also make a name for itself in the skateboarding sport by providing foot support witout compromising style. These are available now from select Gourmet carriers.

Nike Air Max 95 – Anthracite – Metallic Silver

This past year will go down in fashion history for its use of ‘all black everything’, but grey has played an equally huge role in the post-recession fashion world. Grey softens high contrasts and might be the ‘cleanest’ color other than white, and we all know how amazing a range of greys looks on the Nike Air Max 95. This one goes a bit further than normal, sticking with a mix of silver and greys all the way down to Anthracite without a speck of ‘color’ to be seen. It’s a simple concept on paper but turns out to be one of the hottest AM95s in recent memory, and they’re available exclusively from Britain’s JD Sports.

Ronnie Fieg x Asics Gel Lyte III ‘The Cove’ – New Images

Ronnie Fieg’s ongoing collaboration with Asics has produced some beautiful work of late, and oh yeah, the sneakers are pretty dope as well. Feig’s been showing us his latest kicks on the feet of some gorgeous ladies of late, so here’s a more realistic look at what to expect if you can get your hands on the Ronnie Fieg x Asics Gel Lyte III ‘Coves’. Check out these images of ‘The Cove’ GLIIIs on the feet of Complex’s Joe La Puma and Phil Annand from The Madbury Club. We’ll leave it up to you to judge their accompanying fits, but one thing’s clear from these images: the kicks have roughly the same shade of blue as your typical swimming pool, and they look great with denim, even when soaking wet!

Nike Air Trainer Max 91 – Black – Varsity Red | Available

Think “early ’90s Nike midtops with in black and red with an ankle cutout” and you’re likely to conjure images of the Air Jordan VII and/or Huarache series. Mention criss-crossing velcro straps from that same era, and you’re sure to picture the AJVIII. But before any of those all-time greats got out the gate, the Nike Air Trainer Max 91 was in the weight room and out on the track. This Trainer Max 91 was last retroed in 2005, and the beloved Bred colorup ensures these’ll fly off shelves again a half a decade later.

Air Jordan Six (6) Rings Winterized – Holiday 2010 Collection

Last year saw the release of the Air Jordan Spiz’ike Winterized Boot, and with cold weather coming quicker than you know it, the Spiz’ike’s AJ hybrid successor is waiting in the wings with a boot version of its own. The Air Jordan Six Rings Winterized Boot shows how close the Air Jordan XII’s top eyelets really were to your traditional hiking boot lacing system and each of the three colorways we have to show you today is perfect in its own way. You can’t go wrong with an all-black boot and one with dark brown on the upper with a black sole is equally destined for no-brainer success, but the standout is pictured in the middle and looks to take its colorway from the OG Air Magma ACG.

Jordan Brand Holiday 2010 Look Book

Let’s start on the lifestyle side of the spectrum, where four new colorways of the Jordan V.2 Grown each look to be very well executed. There’s a couple of brown towns plus one each in grey or black, but if you need a more rugged boot look no further than the Air Jordan Spiz’ike Winterized. Three Spizike Winterized Boots will hit in Q4, two of which are popular colorways held over from last year.

And speaking of last years, this could very well be the final season for Carmelo Anthony in Denver, but his Jordan Brand signature series continues to roll on strong with the upcoming Melo M7 in a wide range of colorways. Elsewhere on-court, the Take Flight shows us what JB will do with a full-length Max Air cushion for the first time, while the Rare Air and Flight SC Highs each show a different perspective on where they’ve been.

Nike Auto Trainer – Black – Red | Available

Nike Training has been rejuvenated over the past year. The debut of cutting edge releases like the Nike Trainer 1 and Trainer SC 2010 along with a heaping helping of quality retros has put Swoosh sports prep sneakers back at the top of everybody’s wish list. The latest release is more of a lifestyle shoe, the Nike Auto Trainer hybrid. It’s a vulc-soled take on the Trainer SC II that saw its OG release about two decades ago, and it’s amazing to see how well the design has aged, although one could argue that’s the case because of how we’ve chosen to make once tech-heavy kicks our everyday beaters. In any case, this simple black, white and red colorway is sure to find its fair share of fans and you can grab your pair today from JBseller on eBay.

Air Jordan VIII (8) Low – Mike Bibby PE

Here’s a look at another of Mike Bibby’ AJ PE stash – the Air Jordan VIII Low. Featuring a simple white, black, ahd chrome colorway with his ‘10′ jersey number on the cross-instep strap, and 1Z on the medial side – a shout out to his Team Dime affiliation. The shoes are identical to the Air Jordan VIII Low White/Metallic Silver that released in 2003 so some purple trim to match his Sacramento Kings uniform would’ve been a nice touch.

Air Jordan CMFT Viz Air 11 – Varsity Royal / Varsity Red New Detailed Images

Officially set for a September 4th release, many are on the fence about copping a pair of the new hybrid/fusion model. In order to help make your final decision, we have some very nice detailed images of both pairs on feet.

Air Jordan Fusion 12 (AJF12) – Available Now

With all the hype over WBF this weekend in NYC, some people may have forgotten about some of the non-WBF related shoes that released. One such release was the Air Jordan Fusion 12. Here we see the sneaker in an Obsidian/White-French Blue-University Blue and Black/Blue Sapphire-Cyber colorway. They are available now and retail for $145.

Nike Air Force 1 - Hamptons

Nike Sportswear Toki Perforated Leather Pack

Last week, we received the shipment of the Black Perforated Pack QS which consisted of an Air Force 1, Dunk High AC and Toki. Surprisingly there is another Perforated Pack available this week. The uppers of these Toki feature micro perforated leather, while white vulcanized soles sit below. The only accent on these shoes are the stripes separating that sole from the upper. Two colorways available now at our online store.

Nike Dunk High Dubai Pack

The Nike Dunk High Dubai pack is the reward to employees of NIKE AGS (Austria, Germany, Switzerland) after being held regional winner in a competition in their internal meeting in Dubai. The Dubai Dunk kicks comes with a sidepanel print, contrast stitchings on the upper which are in the same color like the laces and the lining. A lasering etches on the back panel with the phrase “We Are Nike” is perfectly placed together with the blue graphic painting the mid-panel.

Nike Air Max 90 – Sport Red/White

If you haven’t noticed how much sport red has been recycled this year throughout the Nike catalog, maybe back to back sneakers with matching colors will help make it a little clearer. Following the Nike Dunk Low’s we just took a look at, here’s a look an Air Max 90 that’s been released for the month of August which also adapt the tired red hue. Just like the aforementioned Dunk, sport red and white share the duties of coloring the sneakers. The leather paneling, as well as the plastic tab on the back with the Air Max branding, all consist of sport red, while the mesh paneling, Swoosh and plastic eyelet tabs add some contrast in white. The two colors also divide the midsole. Finally, a subtle hit of light charcoal is worked into the outsole.

Nike Dunk Low – Sport Red/White

The simplest of colorways have proven time and time again to be a perfect fit for the Nike Dunk. Take for example this new August release which some what reminds of a smaller version of Big Gulp Nike SB Dunk. Red leather lays down the base coat throughout the upper with leather on the toe-box, mid-panel and around the ankle, and nubuck on the frontal, lace and heel panels. White on the Swoosh and Nike embroidery on the heel pairs up nicely with the matching midsole. A closing dose of black on the outsole has this simply colored Dunk jumping right out at ya.

Air Jordan x Pantone 248 Collection – Air Jordan VIII, IX & X

Seems like all the Air Jordans are going to have Pantone 248 make over, with the Air Jordan VIII, IX and X joining the collection. A Carolina Sky Blue nubuck upper with a White mid and bottom sole and White accent, lets not forget the Pantone 248 lasering on the upper. Check out the detail pics of the Air Jordan x Pantone 248 collection seen after the jump and let us know what you guys think about the collection.

Air Jordan x Pantone 248 Collection – Air Jordan VI & VII

Next up to join the Air Jordan x Pantone 248 collection are the Air Jordan VI and VII. Jordan Brand first presented these at the Jordan Brand pop-up shop at Atmos for the World Basketball Festival. The collection was made to tell Jordan’s story and love for the game of basketball, now we have detailed shots of the shoes which can be seen after the jump. No word on a release date or even a release at that, but stay with Sneakerfiles for the latest news on the collection.

Cody Hudson for Converse (RED) – Chuck Taylor All Star High

Chicago-based artist Cody Hudson has seen his work exhibited in Europe and Asia, but this new collaboration with Converse is 100% grade-A all American. The Cody Hudson x Converse Chuck Taylor All Star pictured above is part of the ongoing PRODUCT (RED) capsule whose proceeds go to fight AIDS in Africa. You might find Cody’s Chucks similar to other Converse collaborators’, specifically John Varvatos, but the inclusion of an intricate polygonal stamp on the lateral ankle area makes these unique. Check out more shots after the jump and look for these at select Converse retailers.

Nike Air Foamposite Pro ‘Pearl’ – September 2010

The Nike Air Foamposite Pro ‘Pearl’ offers the most direct route to the essence of Foamposite’s satiny goodness, but they’ve not been the easiest kicks to get your hands on. Last May’s House of Hoops exclusive drop left many lacking, so luckily this year will see a wider (but still limited) distribution. Set to hit retailers on Friday, September 3rd, the Pearl Foams will be available select retailers including Foot Locker.

Nike Zoom Kobe VI (6) – White – Purple | Sample

Last month Sneaker News showed you new images of an upcoming Nike Kobe shoe in an all-black colorway; Sneaker News can now officially confirm that the sample is indeed the Nike Zoom Kobe VI (6). Here’s a look at a new White/Purple colorway of the upcoming shoe; the design aspects are nearly similar to the Black/White Sample we showed you before – snakeskin graphic on the toe, embossed snakeskin applique on the heel-bumper – but take a look at the heel and you’ll see the word ‘Venomenon’ stamped on the upper midsole area, an obvious play on words alluding the Kobe Bryant’s slithery alter ego, the ‘Black Mamba‘. The updated tech-specs of this upcoming Kobe features updated traction as well as a new full-length basketball-specific Zoom Air cushioning unit, going from 16mm at the heel and tapering down to 6mm at the forefoot, which signifies two things: better comfort and probable higher price-point. In these images, the Samples sit atop a newly designed box (but could just be a makeshift podium). Sneaker News has also been informed that the a leather version will likely not be produced, but will rather feature a newly designed nylon/elastic type upper material. Continue reading for another look at this upcoming Kobe shoe and let us know what you think of the design.

Air Jordan CP3.IV – First Look

Over the weekend, Chris Paul was in New York City representing Jordan Brand at the World Basketball Festival, as he partook in a special Jordan Brand Breakfast Club Event @ Rucker Park as well as a Q&A session @ the House of Hoops. Sneaker News reported a limited edition set of Jordan Brand ‘For the Love of the Game’ figurines that went up for sale at Atmos, featuring Chris Paul wearing a never-before-seen pair of shoes. Turns out the Chris Paul figurine was wearing the upcoming Jordan CP3.IV, Chris Paul’s fourth signature shoe with Jordan Brand. Boasting an I.P.S. cushioning system carried over from the CP3.III and derived from the Air Jordan XX, the CP3.IV features the same mid-cut silhouette from its predecessors, with a sturdy heel-cup, mesh ankle liner, and herringbone traction. The upper design of the CP3.IV features a mosaic-like graphic consisting of triangular segments, with a perforated leather strip going down the length of the shoe. Continue reading for another look at the upcoming Jordan CP3.IV and let us know if this is the best of the CP3 line to date.

Nike Air Max T-Zone LE – ‘Dee Brown’ Unreleased 2009 Sample

Dee Brown *made* the Reebok Pump Omni Lite. The diminutive Boston Celtics guard reached down to Pump it up and he aired out on a blindfolded dunk that was so good, Cederic Ceballos basically copied it the next year and still won. You’ll always remember the Pump and the blindfolded dunk together, which is why it’s so surprising to see the tongue tags of this Nike Air Max T-Zone. Dee’s right there, forearm over his eyes in flight and the Celtics colorway is right; but why on a pair of Nikes?! Whether these were a practical joke or a sign of some kind of defection is not immediately obvious, but you can grab this rare collectors piece from checkmarksthespot on eBay.

Nike Air Max 24-7 – Midnight Navy – Blue Lacquer

The Nike Air Max 24/7 has enjoyed quite a bit of momentum in the form of signature colorways from its Air Max 95 and 97 constituents, but what about a new palette to define the 24/7 as an individual? We might look back on this Midnight Blue and Blue Lacquer pair of AM 24-7s as the one that ranks up there with ‘Neon’ and ‘Silver Bullet’, cos the distinctive stylings of this tonal blue design make for an instantly memorable hybrid runner for 2010.

Air Jordan 1 Low Slip-On – Unreleased 2007 Sample

It’s not too terribly uncommon to see someone rocking sneakers without laces, and a tongue with elastics can greatly improve the fit. Check out this unreleased sample from 2007, an Air Jordan 1 Low Slip-On that never saw the light of day at retail. These might remind you of the J-Man elastics that Jordan Brand released for preschoolers, but these AJ1 Slip-Ons offer a subtler use of the stretchy stuff, presumably something like a SB Dunk Low.

Nike SB Dunk High – ‘Brain Wreck’ – Elephant Custom by CemeteryDrive

Elephant Print manages to spice up anything it touch, does it not? Here’s a look at the Nike SB Dunk High with the sublime Elephant Print applied to the toe box as well as the lace-placket, using the black-on-grey combination that originated on the Air Jordan III. These customs were done at the hands of Cemetery Drive, who recently added the universally loved print on the pair of the recently released Nike SB Dunk Low Chromeball Incident. Does elephant print match well with the Brain Wreck SB Dunk High? Continue reading for an extra look and let us know which of Cemetery Drive’s customs look better.

HUF Fall 2010 Footwear Collection

San Francisco-based HUF is one of the best places to get your hands on the hottest lifestyle sneakers and skate shoes in the Bay Area. Having collaborated with Nike and DVS on a series of shoes, Keith Hufnagel and crew started their own line of lifestyle-oriented kicks earlier this year and now HUF’s Fall 2010 footwear collection has started to hit retailers. Each of these five pairs is super simple, relying on a monochromatic upper comprised of canvas, nubuck or suede. Choose from the Hupper hightop in black nubuck or red canvas, the Genuine lowtop in navy blue or olive green canvas, or the Choice lowtops in black suede.

Gourmet The 26 – Fall/Winter 2010

Gourmet continues to roll out its Fall/Winter 2010 footwear collection, and here’s one of the more curiously named models. Gourmet’s The 26 doesn’t stick with their old Italian-inspired naming convention, instead opting for a seemingly indecipherable numerical designation. Whatever The 26 lacks in literal naming it makes up for with smooth good looks, with both of these pairs offering high quality leather uppers atop simple white soles. Chose from caramel with a pebbled texture or a tumbled black pair, both of which you’ll see in more images after the jump.

Honoring a decade in the retailing game, Size? has put together an expansive collection of collaborations with some of the tastemakers they’ve worked with over their 10 years in business. Part of the celebration includes the “Cities Pack” which Size? designed alongside adidas Originals in a tribute to select cities in the UK . Earlier this year London & Manchester pack’s saw a release and in just a few weeks Glasgow will continue the series. Consisting of an adidas Samba with a matching track jacket, the shoes feature a Navy Blue suede construction with Green leather on the heel tab and Red accents on adidas’ three-stripes. Gold foil lettering of the city’s name appears along the side of the stripes with Glasgow also appearing on the insoles on a tag which marks the 10th Anniversary of Size?.
