Air Jordan Campus Chukka – Light Bone – Medium Grey | Available

The Air Jordan Campus Chukka was introduced last summer as part of Jordan Brand’s dabbling in the off-the-court footwear game. Despite the Campus name, the design of the shoe shows the JB is aiming for the older crowd whose sneaker game has transferred from Jays and Air Maxes to lifestyle fits and finishes. This newest colorway of the Jordan Campus Chukka features light bone and medium grey to go with a pair of dark-washed jeans or some cargo pants. It sure is a welcome respite to all the Air Jordan retros, so check out select Jordan Brand retailers near you because these just dropped at Extra Butter.

Gourmet Quattro Skate – Preview

Gourmet has recently undergone a full-body cleansing by putting out a collection of in-house designed footwear. Gourmet is probably more immediately connected to their use of Air Jordan silhouettes for their designs, but their first test-run in the skate realm has resulted in the Gourmet Quattro Skate Shoe. It features a leather upper with a skate-specific midsole. A black on white midsole pair will be available along side a white leather and blue leather pair, each sitting atop a translucent sole. Watch for these to drop at Gourmet retailers soon.

STPL x Airwalk – Spring 2010 Collection

Some might call STPL a cop-out but you can’t blame the man for hustling to broaden sneaker consumerism. Not to mention, despite being a fallen brand and the fact that these are sold at Payless, many were impressed far more than they thought. To follow up on STPL Design’s work for Airwalk, the new Spring 2010 collection has surfaced with new models and colors. The most notable pairs include the Facet, which resemble the classic profile of a Chuck Taylor or Blazer, the women’s Gallivant taking notes from Vans’ Zapato Del Barco. Most interesting of all- and probably the most risky form a selling point of view- is the Stovepipe, taking on the role of a women’s knee-high zip look. And there are plenty of other models to choose from, including some for kids, all complementing each other with bright Summery colors. These should already be at your local Payless, if not soon.

Air Jordan 1 Phat Low – Black – White – Varsity Red – Gum

Certain colorways are directly connected with specific Air Jordan models. Say ‘Grape’, and you immediately think Air Jordan V. Ponder ‘Indiglo’, and the Air Jordan XIV might come to play. And despite participating in it thirteen times, the term ‘Playoff’ usually conjures up thoughts of the impeccable white-on-black colorway of the Air Jordan XII. This upcoming Air Jordan 1 Phat Low features a similar white-on-black treatment but with a gum sole (Jordan always chewed gum anyway). Check your local Jordan Brand spot for these because the Playoff Air Jordan 1 Phat Low is dropping this month.

Air Jordan Fusion VIII (8) – Black / Varsity Red – Flint Grey

Though Jordan Brand is in the process of winding down their Air Jordan “Fusion” collection, they still have a couple more colorways of the AJF8 to release. This pair is obviously inspired by the “Playoffs” Air Jordan 8, and thus hosts a black nubuck upper with varsity red accents on the outsole, tongue, and rear pattern and flint grey accents on the Air Force 1 midsole. The “Black/Varsity Red-Flint Grey” Air Jordan Fusion VIII (8) is expected to release on May 22nd, 2010 for a retail price of $140.

Derek Jeter and CC Sabathia Commemorative Air Jordan 1’s

The Jordan Brand worked on two special make-ups of the Air Jordan 1 to celebrate the latest World Championships to be won in their team.

“These two shoes were inspired by iconic elements of the Bronx’s most famous diamond, and include discovery elements for New York’s most loyal fans. The special Alpha AJ1 Outdoor speaks to CC’s edge and contemporary style while the AJ1 Phat Low speaks to Derek’s refined and sophisticated off-field demeanor. Today as New York plays it’s home opener, they celebrate their first championship in their new stadium and these shoes include details that commemorate the first and last championships of baseball’s most winning organization.”

Both sneakers will be released some time later this month.

Nike SB Holiday 2010 Dunk Low Premium “Yellow Curb”

Nike 2010 Spring Air Carnivore Retro

Vans East vs West Pack

For the new Vans ‘East vs West’ Pack, two streetwear labels helped in designing two of the most interesting high tops bearing the name Vans. Crooks & Castles provided a monochromatic Black high top upper with embossed stripes pattern, Crooks & Castles logo on the tongue and Crooks & Castles-Vans label on the side. The sole comes in a White vulcanized rubber and it goes with the top eyelets. The other pair was designed by Acapulco Gold using off-White suede, leather, and White nylon mesh with Green accent.

Asics Gel Lyte III Salmon Toe x Ronnie Fieg

Originally, collaboration was not a thing for Asics but recently, designer Ronnie Fieg worked on a pair of Gel Lyte III. The result is an awesome combination of Navy and Salmon. The shoe’s base comes from a Navy nubuck while the whole toe was wrapped up in perforated Salmon nubuck. Textile material was used on the tongue and inner liner in the same Navy color. Asics insignia comes in White with Salmon outline on the side plus White Asics branding on the heel and midsole.

10.Deep x adidas Originals Consortium Stan Smith Mid

Streetwear companies have steadily been making their way into the sneaker industry with many teaming up with major footwear companies, or in the case of The Hundreds starting an entire footwear footware line of your own. While branching out into the market with your own line isn’t something easily achieved overnight, and something which requires major work before hand, it never hurts to get your feet wet in the meantime which is exactly what 10.Deep is doing.

We can’t say 10.Deep is buttering us up for their own footwear line but they have tapped adidas Originals Consortium for their first ever sneaker collaboration and boy is it a doozie. 10.Deep took the honor of designing a Stan Smith Mid which they fashioned with a tonal grey nubuck upper. Perforated detailing was then added on the lateral side of the upper to resemble the adidas three stripes, with additional perforations on the medial side of the upper which spells out 10.Deep when the two shoes are placed side by side. A white midsole with a gum outsole keeps you planted securely, while a pair of rawhide laces ensures a snug fit. There’s also co-branding details on the heel tab and tongue, and on a pair of custom insoles with signature 10.Deep graphics of a monsters mouth.

Air Jordan April 2010 Releases

With April knocking on the door could there be a better time to take a look at what Jordan Brand is publicly announcing to release throughout the month? We didn’t think so either.

Not including anything that’s set to pop up unexpectedly, there’s 17 releases for the month of April 2010. Out of the lineup for the month there’s for sure two tier releases which are for sure to be the popular drops of the month. Those would be the Air Jordan 6 Retro “Detroit Pistons” and the Perforated Spizike. Other then that you got an Air Jordan 1 Phat which has unofficially released at some retailers already, a Jordan Classic ‘91, three Jordan Flight 45 Highs, Jordan Ol’School III 5/8th, the Jeter Throwback which is available now, two Jordan Flight Team’s, two Jordan TE II Advance’s, two Jordan Icons and two Jordan Accolades, one of which is a Premier model.

Silvano Apparel “Fly High” – Additional Colorways

A few of you were pretty impressed with the Fly High “Pigeon”, a new silhouette coming our way from Silvano Apparel, a footwear company established by Courtney Cox from the Project51 sneaker boutique in Miami, Florida. While we felt the shoes looked like a pair of Supra’s, mainly due to the designing of the heel panel, some of you thought otherwise and expressed how you felt the style was unique and nothing like a Skytop, or any Supra Footwear model for that matter.

While expressing you’re thoughts some of you wanted to see a few more colorways besides for the Pigeon Edition shown. Thankfully we have just that. Courtney supplied us with a shot of a few additional colorways of the Fly High, without the iconic pigeon logo. Courtney hasn’t told us exactly when the sneakers will be available but it was revealed that the Fly High “Pigeon” is scheduled for a release in August so it’s quite possible these will be releasing around the same time.

Stay tuned for further updates on the latest from Silvano Apparel.

Ambush Design x A Bathing Ape Creep Sta

A Bathing Ape made its name with bright, eye-catching designs that some would call garish, while others loved them enough that you’ve probably seen your fair share of fakes. Here’s a new style so hot off the presses and so unique, you might not ever see them in person, much less in bootleg form. The Ambush x Bape Creep Sta is familiar only by its Air Force 1-like sole, with the upper being something entirely new. It’s not that we’ve never seen a moccasin toe, or a leather-lined dress sneaker, but these are quintessentially ‘Bape’ in that they’re an amalgam of these plus other ‘dressy’ characteristics, all set to cheetah-print pony hair. These will hit the Bape chapter store in Singapore on Saturday, so you’ll need to work your overseas connects to get a pair.

CONS – Converse Skate – April 2010 Releases

Following up on the cranberry CONS Pappalardo, here’s a few other pairs that are now out as part of April releases. First off the, the skate version of popular All Star, the CTS gets a traditional black canvas with white toe bumper, or a parchment with red trim for those looking for an off-beat look. Upping the ante, the CTS Mid provides a dark grey with red trim as well, while the CTS Hi gets all white with black trim, countering the previously released CTS Hi of the reverse colorway. Solid colorways, Converse is working its color options well.

Nike WMNS Air Max 90 – White – Metallic Silver – Blue Sapphire

And the ongoing theory of women’s products getting better colorways deepens as Nike releases this Air Max 90. Taking hues from some other kicks rocking the blue sapphire, balancing out with white mesh and a silver Swoosh. Not too shabby. Let’s hear how you feel; think these should have been a men’s CW? Or maybe it’s an April Fools scheme from Nike to mess with our heads.

adidas Consortium Gazelle – Navy Blue – Pink

adidas Consortium can be somewhat confusing on the surface. They have a silhouette of two hands shaking as their (secondary) logo, release a ton of collaborations, but yet, aren’t exclusively team-up releases. To be frank, it doesn’t really matter who designed the shoe when it looks as dope as this new adidas Consortium Gazelle. Hot pink laces erupt from a navy blue woven nylon upper, each of which is sure to draw attention in its own way. If that weren’t enough, the whole thing rides a translucent almost-gum sole for a very unique look.

HUF Hupper – Fall 2010 Preview

Here’s a sneaker that may be one of the best examples of what HUF is all about: honoring classic skate sensibilities by adding a contemporary touch. The new HUF Hupper hightop is not only a tongue-twister to say three times fast, but these first four pairs are salivating. At first glance, they look a little like the Vans Sk8-Hi, but there are a load of little differences, not the least of which is an ‘H’ that stretches diagonally from the eye-placket down to the vulcanized rubber soles. Expect these canvas and suede hightops to hit retailers in Fall 2010, just in time for back to school shopping

Nike Air Max Light – World Cup 2010 Pack | Available

In early March we previewed two upcoming colorways of the Nike Air Max Light representing two countries (USA and Holland) participating in the upcoming 2010 World Cup Tournament. Rounding out the pack of four is Portugal and Brasil; the Portugal colorway features an all white upper with green-red trim while the Brasil features a classic black-white-green similar to that of the Nike Dunk High AC hat was part of the Nike Sportswear Six Collection. All four colorways of the Nike Air Max Light World Cup 2010 Pack are now available at Nikestore.Eu.

Nike Air Max 1 iD – New Color Options Available

Last December the Nike Air Max 1 on Nike iD was stretched out to newer heights when the option for speckling was introducedm, with 3M reflective material arriving not much after. For the summer, Nike iD will introduce four more colors to the AM1 iD palette; Team Orange, Lilac, Blue Dusk, and Neptune Blue are now available as color options, so getting THE color-combo of your sneakerhead lifetime might be available. Head on over to Nike iD to check out the new options.

Nike Air Max 90 Premium – Blue + Red

The Nike Air Max 90 is heralded for its classic design, so these two new colorways of the Nike Air Max 90 runs it by the 90’s playbook, going a simple blue and red with accompanying black and white trim. Simple is key with retro runners and the colorways you see here fits the bill quite well despite being reused again and again (but never to exhaustion). These should hit states shortly, joining all the other recent basic 90s that released in 2010, and you can purchase either pair of the Nike Air Max 90 over at Titolo.

Nike SB Dunk Low Pro – Obsidian – Team Red | Available

The ‘Midnight Fog’ Nike SB Dunk Low that released last October marked a return to core skate aesthetics from Nike SB. They’ve continued to churn out the crazy designs that made SB a household name, but all while keeping with the basics. This new pair of Nike SB Dunk Low Pros is pretty much identical to the aforementioned pair, if you were to swap out the black griptape sections for deep red suede. The result is an all-over lush look that should be a hit with skateboarders and fashionistos alike.
