Nike Air Force 1 Bespoke by Ramon Cerda

Ramon Cerda is the latest consumer to have his Bespoke Air Force Ones displayed on the 21 Mercer Street blog. Ramon, being a NY native, looked to NYC for his inspiration on a design which he calls the “Rotten Apples”. The sneakers consist of a multitude of colors and fabrics which create a pair of Air Force Ones which look completely different on the outer side and inner side of the upper. The frontal of the sneakers consists of red patent leather with red nubuck on the toe-box with green nubuck on the lace panels. The mid-panels on the outer side of the upper feature red croc material while the mid-panels on the inner side of the upper consists of white patent leather. Brown suede is used for the heel panel on the outer side of the upper while white suede is used of the heel panel on the inner side of the upper. The Nike Swoosh’s are also different, with brown leather on the outer side and white leather on the inner side. Lastly is a translucent mid-sole with a red backing and a brown outsole.

Nike Auto Flight Anthracite

Continuing their Nike Auto Flight releases, Nike recently released the Anthracite Nike Auto Flight. The Anthracite Nike Auto Fight features an Anthracite nubuck upper with lenticular accents at the tongue and around the eyelets. The upper sits on a Black and White autoclaved (vulcanized) midsole/outsole.

The Anthracite Nike Auto Flight is part of Nike's November releases and has begun to pop up at select accounts early.

Nike Delta Force AC Team Red

Adding to their roster of classic sneakers fused to an autoclave (vulcanized) sole, Nike recently released the Delta Force AC. The Nike Delta Force AC features the upper from the the Nike Delta Force High sitting on a Chuck Taylor like midsole/outsole. Kicking of their Delta Force AC releases, Nike recently released the Team Red Nike Delta Force AC which features a combo upper of Team Red smooth leather and Team Red mesh. The upper sits on a White midsole with a Team Red stripe running across.

Vans Vault Chukka Mok Collection Release

In August, we brought you an early look at a Chukka Mok Collection to be released sometime in the fall. Well, we now bring you word that the Vans Vault crew has begun to release these shoes, and we bring you a look at the complete collection. You already saw the two high-top pairs coming in brown and black. We also have pictures of their complementary low-top Chukka models. Every shoe comes with suede uppers, white soles, and a stitching pattern that meets between the sole and upper and runs around the entire shoe. As we mentioned before, this Mok collection is here just in time to help with the season’s frigid weather. Check-in with your local Vans retailers to get your hands on these.

Nike RT1 Black on Black

It's Black on Black sneaker season again and Nike is ready with their Black on Black RT1. The Black/Black Nike RT1 features a solid Black leather upper, a Black midsole, and a slight hit of Dark Grey on the outsole.

Nike Big Nike Lil' Dez Release Info

Although the LeBron and Kobe MVPuppets strung together several funny and memorable commercials, it was their unlikely co-star, Lil' Dez, that stole the spotlight. Not to be left out of the sneaker celebration, Nike is set to bless Lil' Dez with his own sneaker, the Lil' Dez Nike Big Nike. The Lil' Dez Nike Big Nike features a red upper sitting on a White midsole/sole and the lining features a hit of Purple. The tongue tab features Lil' Dez surrounded by stacks of Nike boxes and the Big Nike trademark hit that is usually on the heel, is replaced by a big "Lil' Dez" hit. In a nod back to Kobe's 4th championship, the Lil' Dez Nike Big Nike also features a "Congrats Kobe" hit on the ankle.

Air Jordan Retro 1 HOH Houston Exclusive | Air Jordan XIII Inspired

As part of the recent opening of the House of Hoops in Houston, Jordan Brand released a couple of pieces of HOH Houston exclusive footwear. Included within these releases was the Air Jordan XII inspired Air Jordan Retro 1. The AJXII inspired AJ1 features an upper designed to look like the reflective piece on the upper from the Black/Red Air Jordan XIII. The upper sits on a White midsole and Red outsole.

Nike WMNS Blazer Mid ND | Black / Very Berry / Blue

Here is yet another Nike Blazer release as part of the Nike Sportswear fourth quarter collection. The sneakers feature a blend of suede, nubuck and nylon. The upper comes in black with very berry stitching on the Swoosh, heel, laces and tag. A vibrant shade of blue can be seen on the tongue and bridge between the sole and upper.

Big Nike Low – Team Green/Red/Black

Somewhere between Godzilla and Gucci Nike has gone ape for reptile and red/black/green textiles. IF you couldn’t get your hands on the Gucci Dunk Highs or just couldn’t rock with the Godzilla Blazer’s Nike is trying your hand again with these Nike Big Nike’s. An interesting use of materials really makes this palette pop as the glossy red swoosh lays against the matte reptile embossing and is rounded out by the green suede. These are set to drop soon. It seems like New Balance has at some point, used just about every material known to man in their sneakers. This New Balance JP 575 Horse Hair makes it pretty obvious what kind of material they are using here in addition to the leather and suede.

Disney Store Japan x Vans Sk8 Hi

The Japanese are always innovative and creative people and the same goes for Disney and Vans as well. You can imagine then, that this new Disney Store Japan x Vans Sk8 Hi would be colorful and exciting. They feature a multicolored print of mickey mouse on the back panels.

Nike Sportswear Icon Art – Nike Air Max 90 Hamburger

If running never made you hungry, then you weren’t running hard enough. Nike Sportswear commissioned the likes of eight artists, designers, and the like to give their piece of Nike Sportswear art to showcase at the 1912 Space. Olle Hemmendorff definitely seemed hungry when he constructed his Nike Air Max 90 Hamburger. The upper consists of sesame seed bun, with a cheese covering outlining the swoosh. The laces are also cheesed out with tomatoes as the lace panels. The midsole is where the meat is at, with a tomato as the Air Max logo. Ketchup outlines the Air Max unit in the midsole, and the bottom of the bun serves as the outsole. This is a great piece of art dedicated to NSW, but too bad it doesn’t have a long shelf life.

Nike Bespoke Air Force 1 by Alex

Has Nike ever disappointed with the Bespoke series? We can’t think of an example and this new design from Alex at 21 Mercer is no exception. This Nike Bespoke Air Force 1 by Alex is almost entirely done in croc leather except for the swoosh and the heel panels which are done in leather.

Onitsuka Tiger Lawnship – Holiday 2009

There’s a reason why most people refer to all sneakers as tennis shoes, and that’s because tennis shoes started it all. Onitsuka Tiger was a contributor in this, with its classy tennis shoes from the past. Today, the brand still goes strong, retro-ing classics and taking flavor from the days of old to create some sure-fire hits. Onitsuka Tiger did just that by creating the Onitsuka Tiger Lawnship. The Lawnship comes in two different brown colorways for the Holiday 2009 season. The first is a full brown premium leather upper with a brown suede toe, complete with a white vintage midsole and mustard yellow accents. The other pair is pretty opposite from the first pair, with a mustard yellow premium leather upper complete with a brown tiger design accented by gold stitching. Red fur offsets the shoe at the heel, with brown suede at the toe. Be sure to look out for these babies at your local Onitsuka Tiger retailer.
