Nike Blazer AC High Black/Photo Blue

We’ve seen the Blazer AC High release in a few colorways this year, and Nike just released a new colorway of the Blazer AC High. This Blazer AC High features a black/photo blue paint job, with minor patent leather detailing. These Blazers are available now at Wish and at other Nike retailers for $100.

Play Cloths x Pro Keds 69er Preview

Play Cloths has already made a mark in the fashion world, and now Play Cloths is stepping into to the shoe game. The Play Cloths and Pro Keds 69er sneakers was recently spotted at the Agenda tradeshow. As you can see, two colorways will release, and this collaboration would not be complete without the placement of Play Cloths Jack logo. We don’t have a release date but the shoes will release in the coming months.

For those of you who were intrigued by the silhouette but wanted to see a more conventional colorway applied to it, we have news for you. Pictured here is the black/varsity red-white Air Jordan Pre-Game XT, which, as it turns out, is available for purchase now for the suggested retail price in adult sizes of $90 through select Jordan Brand retailers nationwide. Let us know what you think of this team Jordan’s design and how the more OG colorway affects your feelings on/for it.

Air Jordan IX “For the Love of the Game” – Release Information

The Air Jordan IX makes a huge return in 2010 with a number of OG and brand spanking new colorways that have some excited and others yearning for something better. Perhaps this could be exactly the Air Jordan IX you’ve been waiting for. Pictured here is the white/university blue Air Jordan IX “For the Love of the Game,” which we can now report will be releasing on Wednesday, August 11th from select Jordan Brand retailers including House of Hoops locations nationwide in limited quantities.

Nike Air Force 1 Low “5 Boroughs” Pack Available Now

Towards the end of last month we brought you a look at five special Nike Air Force 1 lows that, together, made up the “5 Boroughs” pack representing for each of the five boroughs of New York City. Although a set release date wasn’t yet known at the time, this past Saturday, the Harlem House of Hoops location went live selling all five pairs. Moreover, the Manhattan Nike Air Force 1 low was also being made available form the Foot Locker flagship store on 34th street in New York- which, again, will also be hosting the World Basketball Festival from August 12th-15th. Which borough do you think is best represented given the colorways you can scope out after the jump? Each pair is draped in shoe laces that spell out what borough it is representing, with the first initial of each respective borough also showing up near the heel.

Nike Zoom Kobe V – USAB ‘United We Rise’ – Detailed Images

The cavalcade of Kobe colorways continue with this second WBF and FIBA World Championships-related edition of the Nike Zoom Kobe V. Dubbed ‘United We Rise’ in reflection of both the World Basketball Festival theme and the original use of that phrase from the 2008 Beijing Olympics, the UWR ZKVs are different than the ‘regular’ USAB Kobe 5s thanks to a reimagined colorblocking scheme that eschews navy blue on the ‘overlay’ sections, instead opting for a pixelated graphic design. Check out a bunch of images after the jump and let us know how you’d rank these among the rest of the USA Basketball kicks from Nike.

686 x New Balance Winter 2010 Footwear Collection

The 686 x New Balance collaboration produced a couple solid, if confusingly named, designs last year, and it looks like the two companies get along well enough to give it another go. In photos from the Agenda tradeshow in Huntington Beach, CA, we get our first glimpse at the newest 686-designed NB kicks, which range from the 574 runner turned vulc-soled midtop, V74, and, of course, a number of snowbarding boots. These should hit select snowboarding outfitters this winter and you can see more shots after the jump in the mean time.

Christian Hosoi x Vans Syndicate Bash Vulc | Available

While you normally wouldn’t consider devout religious practice and skateboarding to go hand and hand, to assume they’re mutually exclusive would be missing out on one of the all-time greats. Christ Air inventor Christian Hosoi is known to be a fan of his own name in more ways than one, and remains a true legend in the skate and griptape game. Off the Wall is honoring Hosoi and his contributions with this new pack of Vans Syndicate Bash Vulc ‘S’ midtops, with two pairs offering roughly opposite takes on the also immortal Bred + white color scheme.

Nike WMNS Air Max 95 – Grey – Orange – Polka Dot

Polka dots are one of the staple patterns you’ll find on ladies’ clothing year after year, as is the truncated Max Air cushion on the Nike WMNS Air Max 95. These AM95s for women offer a novel take on the familiar ‘muscle fiber’ grey-dient, adding tiny white dots to the Swoosh-laden tier to enhance this pair’s unique feel. All of those greys look great next to bright orange, a perfect look as we head into the autumn months. Check out more images after the jump and look for these at select Nike Sportswear retailers including RockPaperScissors.

Air Jordan Force Fusion XII – Black – Blue Sapphire – Cyber | Available

Blue Sapphire and Cyber accents on a mostly-black Jordan; didn’t we just see that? The answer is ‘yes’ and just like the AJ1 that came before it, this new Air Jordan Fusion XII (AJF 12) looks dope in the ‘blacklight’ colorway. This pair of Fusion XIIs offers a deeply-pebbled leather laid atop black nubuck, all of which is held together with blue and yellow contrast stitches.

Air Jordan IV (4) – Black – Red – Splatter – 1989 Sample on eBay

The trademark feature of the Air Jordan VIII (8) was surely the crazy mult-color design on the midsole. Is it an altered camouflage print? Some sort of graffiti? Either way, the Jordan VIII is regarded highly for its design, but it wasn’t the VIII that first featured that crazy use of colors. Check out this unreleased sample of the Air Jordan IV, featuring the classic black/red/white colorway but with an insane ripped camo graphic on the midsole and the heel of the shoe. Ah, the days when Nike Air and Jordan Brand were in cahoots, because the Nike Air on the heel contrasts unbelievably well with the curious use of the multi-color print. Are these legit? Well, considering this 1989 sample was never released, it’s hard to imagine a ‘fake’ of a shoe that never released would ever be made. Also given the fact that the man selling off this prized gem has a pretty impressive collection himself, we’ll accept that these are indeed the real deal. One man’s trash is truly another man’s treasure, as these were purchased by the seller from a garage sale.

Nike Air Force 1 Low – Tuff Tech Pack

There exists an unbreakable “swag” when one breaks out a crispy pair of Air Force 1s…that is, until a bumbling bystander accidentally steps on one’s foot, leaving a unforgivable scuff on the now flawed toebox. That’s about to change soon; here’s a first look at the Nike Air Force 1 Low Tuff Tech Pack, a collection of four sick tonal colorways of the Air Force 1, laden with a griptape-like TUF material that will protect the shoe from scratches, scuffs, and any other bumps and bruises that may be incurred in the open road. You might’ve seen this material used in the Vans Tuff Tech Pack as well as some Supra releases, but this is a true first for the Air Force 1. Aside from the durable upper material, the tonal colorways feature black, navy blue, burgundy, and olive green, all with semi-translucent soles. These will be available in the coming months, so check out this first look at the AF1 Tuff Tech after the jump, and start figuring out which colorways you’ll be copping when these drop.

Nike Air Force 1 iD Premium MX – Nike Harajuku Exclusive

The Nike Air Force 1 Bespoke Experience hit Nike Harajuku for four days in “quickstrike” fashion. Now that the four-day session has come and gone, what about those who were unable to get a hold of one of the Bespoke reservations? Nike Design Consultant ‘T’ was asked to create a special Air Force 1 for Nike Harajuku, and his selection could only be described as “formal”. In a colorway resembling a pristine tuxedo, T chose a black and white full grain leather for the upper, with the translucent MX midsole with the pink accents adding the right touch. Priced at 36,750 yen (just shy of $450), the Air Force 1 iD by Design Consultant ‘T’ will be a Nike Harajuku Exclusive, so check out the images after the jump and let us know what you think.

Air Jordan – Upcoming Retro Update

2010 thus far was filled to the brim with Air Jordan Retro releases; the Air Jordan VI and Air Jordan IX saw seven separate releases each, and we’re not even counting the kids colorways. Even yesterday, Sneaker News broke the news about the Air Jordan II ‘Candy Pack’ slated for a release later this year. It was time to step aside and take in Retro influx, but it looks like Jordan Brand isn’t done yet; a rumored re-release of the Air Jordan XIII (13) ‘Altitude’ is expected to drop sometime during the Holiday season. The Altitudes dropped in February of 2005, which makes the re-release of a somewhat recent shoe questionable considering the number of Air Jordan XIIIs that have yet to see a second at-bat.

Also rumored for a Summer 2011 release is the Air Jordan III (3) True Blue and the Air Jordan VII (7) Cardinal. The Cardinal was even more recent than the Altitudes, releasing just four years ago in the summer of 2006 alongside the “Flint” VII. The True Blue III did indeed release just last year as an Asia-only release, but this is one re-release we can wholly agree on as a stateside drop-date seems probable. Also confirmed for Summer 2011 is the Air Jordan VII Bordeaux which has been pushed back to from its original early 2011 ETA. With all these releases in the books, Jordan Brand is taking a completely relentless approach with the Retros, giving Jordan-heads almost no time to make decisions. Will you cop them all? Let us know what you think of these upcoming releases.

Nike ACG Air Mada 2k10 – Black – Varsity Red | Available

Returning in 2010 is the Nike ACG Air Mada 2k10; if you were a fan of the ACG hikers of the 90s, you might remember the original Nike ACG Air Mada. If you do happen to recognize the original, then this updated 2010 version (thus the 2k10 designation) doesn’t stray too far. With the same high cut, aggressive midsole, and substantial toe, the Air Mada 2k10 takes an excellent classic and revamps it with updated design cues, a stronger lace harness, and Nike Trailframe stability. With such a sick design, we foresee the Mada 2k10 crossing over into streetwear once the weather gets colder. These just dropped at Nikestore so head there to cop a pair now, and stay tuned to Sneaker News for more info on new colorways as well as the ACG Air Mada 2k10 Low.
