Nike x ACRONYM Dunk High AC & Blazer

Nike worked with reknowned apparel design agency, ACRONYM® on two pairs of all Black sneakers, one being the Nike Dunk High AC (Autoclave) and the other the Nike Blazer. Both shoes are supposedly extremely limted as they were promo pairs that were given to Errolson Hugh, co-founder of ACRONYM®. The Dunk High AC features an ACRONYM® graphic on the tongue of the shoe while the Blazer uses the graphic on the heel.

Nike SB Zoom Tre ‘De La Soul’ Customs

Seeing as how i have been a long time fan of the Long Island bred hip hop group De La Soul it was a surprise to me when the De La Soul Dunks released in 2005 and i wasnt feeling them. When i first caught word of the collaboration i had a feeling the sneakers would be one of my grails, but once i caught a look at the sneakers it just didnt hit me like i expected.

Somebody else who can relate to this is sneaker customizer TWITCH. TWITCH says he always wanted a pair of De La Souls but since hes not a big Dunk head he wasnt about to break bread on an overpriced pair from a reseller. Instead he decided to create his own, on a base of his choice, the Nike SB Zoom Tre. TWITCH started off with the white/green/yellow SB Zoom Tre released in 2007 and gave the upper a complete makeover using the original colorway on the De La Soul SB Dunks. Besides for the super clean graphics included on the heel of the sneakers something else which catches our attention is the wood burning which TWITCH did around the ankle of the shoes on the green paneling. Wood burning is something which we have seen TWITCH adding into more of his customs and its defiantly a feature we dont ever mind seeing since TWITCH executes it perfectly every time.

Nike Air Zoom Brave III 3

The Nike Air Zoom Brave line is getting an upgrade with the Nike Air Zoom Brave III. Traditionally, the Nike Air Zoom Brave, a decedent of the Zoom Uptempo V, was worn by Jason Kidd until he left Nike for PEAK. The Zoom Brave lives on though through the III. The Nike Air Zoom Brave III keeps the overall look and feel of the Zoom Brave line while adding Nike Lunar Foam in the forefoot and keeping Nike Zoom Air in the heel.

The Nike Air Zoom Brave has released overseas already in a Black/Yellow, White/Red, White/Yellow, and White/Black. The Nike Air Zoom Brave III should hit the US very soon.

Nike Air Force 1 Paul Pierce

Young fans of LeBron and Kobe have been treated to exclusive player-branded AF1s, and for awhile it looked like Beantown babies wouldn’t get to show the love for their favorite team. Nike clearly hasn’t forgotten about them though, as they’ve released these GS AF1s in Celtics colors, celebrating the long-time face of their franchise.

Paul Pierce won’t be seen sporting these in Kicks On Court any time soon, but maybe his kids will. The majority of these use black nubuck, while perforated leather in white and green is used for the mid-panel and toe sections, respectively. Paul’s “P2″ logo adorns the upper near the heel. Black stitching attaches the uppers and midsole, which is accented by a green outsole. The color blocking, like the aforementioned Kobe Bryant GS AF1s, keeps things simple with team colors. These are out now at select retailers.

Custom Kicks - Huarache Hexachromes.

JGoods does it again, this time on a pair of Nike Air Force 1 Huaraches. JGoods is known for their exquisite color choices as well as their attention to detail, and this time they got it right on both counts. These crisp Huaraches get the tech treatment with a reconstruction of a Hex Color Code. The beauty of this is not in the colorway, but in the fact that every single one of the 25 colors was hand painted as well as hand mixed. As you can guess, these are a 1 of 1 and will never be reproduced.

BBC / Ice Cream Digital Camouflage

BBC / Ice Cream has always been known for their unique, attention-grabbing designs, and this pair of chukkas definitely that description. At first glance, the thing that pops out the most is the digital camouflage design that covers the upper. The shoe sits atop a classic white sole and also features white shoe laces. They have begun arriving at select BBC / Ice Cream retailers including their Tokyo Flagship store.

Nike Air Force 1 Low Pewter/Black

Here is a look at the new Nike Air Force 1 Low Pewter/Black. Unfortunately this is a Womens release, so if you have big feet then you might not be able to get a pair in your size, unless you are willing to have your toes scrunched up.

Nike Air Force 1 Low – November 2009

Nike parallels this change in season with a nice Fall tone for the Nike Air Force 1. Nike SB Zoom Stefan Janoski – Vacahyde Preview

Amidst the variety of previews that leaked for Stefan Janoski’s signature skate shoe with Nike SB, the latest one was leaked by the man himself. The Nike SB Zoom Stefan Janoski comes in a Vacahyde design, using a brown and white fur colorway. The name “Vacahyde” was coined by Janoski, with the Spanish term “vaca,” meaning “cow,” and hyde, to translate into “cowhide.”The name fits perfectly, as the upper is donned in full cow fur, from the swoosh to the tongue, offset by leather laces and a white midsole. This would be perfect for some cow-tipping in your cow costume.
